Koh Rong Island

Koh Rong is a hilly island with a size of 78 km2, covered in dense forest and 43 km of its coastline are beaches. It is a tropical paradise and home to a great variety of endemic plants and animals. There are more than 60 different kinds of orchids. Monkeys, snakes, all kinds of reptiles from Varanus Salvator to the Chinese Water-dragon, turtles, sea eagles and horn-bills, a kind of flying squirrel and surrounded by rich aquatic life.
